Common nutrition mistakes and how to avoid them

Some nutrition mistakes happen quietly, and usually with the best of intentions. Here are a few examples I come across again and again in my consultations.

First: not drinking enough. Water is involved in almost every process in the body. For healthy adults, around 1.5 litres a day is a good guideline.

Second: heavily processed light products. Where fat is reduced, there is often more sugar or more additives instead. It pays to check the ingredients list.

Third: skipping meals and then snacking all the more afterwards. Regular, balanced meals help prevent cravings from building up in the first place.

The good news: these patterns can be changed step by step. The important part is noticing them at all, and that is exactly where I support you.

Nutrition counselling covers health and prevention only. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
